MG Designs is the result of a collaboration between two friends, Morgan Driscoll and Graceann Falkenhagen, after realizing their common interest in design, shared desire to create, and their complementing styles would result in a strong interior design and decor team – not to mention, the amount of fun they knew they would have together along the way.
MG Designs is a full-service interior design company in Austin, Texas. Our spaces are classic with fresh, modern twists.
Our team is experienced in full home makeovers that meet both code and beauty standards. We also plan small redesigns, considering which changes will have the biggest impact on the space. From large home renovations to small room makeovers to décor and styling, we’ve got you covered.
We have a passion for the design industry and closely follow trends but never stray far from classic choices. With acute attention to the client’s preferences and individual style, the end result is a space that is timeless and as unique as you. We look forward to working with you!
Morgan's Story
Morgan graduated from The University of Texas at Austin and then attended law school at South Texas College of Law. Following graduating from law school, Morgan worked as a litigator and an appellate lawyer. While her professional training is in law, her passion lies in creating beautiful homes.
Morgan's mother has owned and operated a home decor retail store for over 20 years. Morgan learned from her the value of listening to clients, finding what works for them and creating spaces that are personal and well designed. In her own home, Morgan works to create a space where her family feels at home and refreshed, where her two young children are happy, and where she and her husband enjoy hosting neighbors, friends and family. To her, that's what life is really all about.
After many years of shaping her own home and helping friends and family create their own beautiful spaces, Morgan is excited to start MG Designs. She looks forward to working with you to create a space you will love for many years to come.
Graceann's Story
Graceann's love of all things creative and artistic began as a child and included rudimentary furniture drawings and re-arranging any bookshelf she was left alone with. A former speech therapist turned home design junky, she is her best self when nurturing her creative side.
Over the past 7 years, Graceann and her husband bought three homes that needed complete finish selections or large scale overhauls. During the projects, Graceann teamed up with builders, architects, and contractors to create homes she was and is proud to call theirs. They are happy spaces where her kids can freely play and create against the backdrop of a well designed home. She also found herself regularly guiding friends in their renovation and decor choices and the results were satisfied friends and a deeper realization that interior decor is more than just a personal interest of hers.
Today, Graceann is dedicated to building a business that helps others create satisfying living spaces. She looks forward to getting to know each client and providing them with an enjoyable interior selections process.
